Adventures for 27 || 3 Big Changes + Opportunities

This past week and weekend has been a whirlwind to say the least. I celebrated my 27th birthday and as I start this new year of life, there are already a lot of exciting things happening. Lot’s of transitions, lots of new adventures, and lots of fun. I have so much to look forward to in the upcoming year– I have a feeling 27 is going to treat me really well… As I start these new adventures, I want you to join me. So here are the details.

New Adventures for 27

  1. Boss Babes Brunch Club: Let me introduce you to my new project, The Boss Babes Brunch Club. A space for business women and entrepreneurs to network, create collaborations, and meet new like-minded babes. I’ve always been interested and passionate about encouraging women to pursue their dreams, and when what I was looking for didn’t exist, I decided to take that challenge on myself. I was a Women’s Studies major in college, and I’m an extrovert to the max. I love building community, cultivating dialogue, and connecting people so they can help each other, and in the process, help themselves. Over the weekend we had our launch party, which was an absolute blast. Keep an eye on the Instagram, as we’ll be revealing some exciting news on Friday (that’s tomorrow!)
  2. City Cellar Yoga + Wine @ Carruth Cellars: On July 10th I’m going to be hosting City Cellar Yoga + Wine at Carruth Cellars in Solana Beach and I am PUMPED! Not only am I honored to be hosting such an event, but I’m also excited to share my passion and love of yoga with others. Sipping on a wine flight, or glass of wine after seems like a great idea too. This is an all levels welcome, the more the merrier type of class. For more info and ticket information click here.

  3. Word Smith: Over the past few years I’ve transitioned into a writer, somewhere along the way I began to take myself seriously, and other people did as well. I’ve recently accepted a position as a part time in-house writer for a local start up in Carlsbad. I will be cutting back hours at the restaurant that I’ve been working at on and off for the past six years– a place that feels like home. I’m a little intimidated, a little nervous, and extremely excited to be starting this new chapter. Transitions are always scary, but taking risks are generally worth it, and I’ve got a gut feeling this one will be as well.

I can’t wait to see where this year takes me, and I hope you’ll join me on the journey.
